South Plain College is sponsoring a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, 40-Hour Mental Health Police Officer Certification Course. I’ll have guest speakers from throughout the judicial and mental health processes come and speak, including our local judges, CIT team at LPD, StarCare officials . . . we’ll also have role players so officers can hone their intervention skills.
